After living in Provo, UT for the last four years our family packed up all of our things and moved to Nevada so Michael could accept a job at one of the hotel spa's as a Licensed Massage Therapist. We knew nothing about this town aside from driving through it on our travels until we moved here on September 22nd. The move was VERY fast, so those of you who didn't find out that we were moving, don't feel hurt that we didn't tell you. We had twelve days to pack up and move. We are finally starting to feel at home here and we love our new home. The last place we lived was about a hundred years old; this one is only ten years old. It has air conditioning! New: carpets, stove, fridge, washer, and dryer, and a two-car garage. These are things we didn't get to enjoy in Provo, so we are very happy. We miss our associations in Provo and no longer have babysitters, but it was time to leave the bubble. It is wonderful to have a husband who enjoys his job and comes home feeling fulfilled at helping others. The kids have adjusted well. Ian is 2 1/2 and enjoys visiting one of the ten parks here (it's kind of amazing that a town of 20,000 has that many parks) and seeing his Vegas grandparents often. Ember is six months old and is a daddy's girl through and through, so really she is happy wherever her daddy is. I am keeping busy with my full-time mommying and enjoy the sweetness of Ian and Ember. I love their laughing matches and can't help but laugh too. The laughter of your children really is the most beautiful sound in the world!
